Our PFC-CVS-C range

These mixtures developed by Wellington Laboratories are certified standards designed specifically for the analysis of PFAS substances.

They are optimised for use with modern LC-MS/MS and GC-MS instruments.

Individual calibration solutions are available in 200 µL ampoule, while our mixtures are available in 1,2 mL solution in methanol.

Kit PFC-CVS-C

PFC-CVS-C Calibration Kit

PFC-CVS is a series of 5 calibration solutions containing native and mass-labelled perfluoroalkylcarboxylic acids and perfluoroalkylsulphonates.

    • Type of mixture: certified standard solution (CRM) containing a mixture of common perfluorinated compounds.
    • Example of application: used to calibrate chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments. This kit enables accurate quantification of PFAS in environmental, food or biological samples.

MPFAC-C-ES mixture

Mass-Labelled PFAS Extraction Standards Solution

    • Type of mixture: The MPFAC-C-ES mixture is designed to work in synergy with PFC-CVS-C, reflecting an optimised strategy for PFAS analysis , analysis, particularly in complex environmental matrices.
    • Composition: provides a mixture of PFAS standards commonly found in environmental samples.
    • Example of application: formulated to serve as a basis for the quantification of specific compounds during analysis, It is designed for routine quantitative analysis in environmental matrices such as drinking water, waste water or soils, wastewater and soil.

Why use them together?

    • Calibration and quality control: MPFAC-C-ES is used to calibrate the instruments, while PFC-CVS-C is used to validate this calibration as an independent control sample.
    • Regulatory compliance: this approach is frequently required to meet international standards (such as those of the EPA) and ensure that analytical results are robust and traceable.
    • Reducing uncertainties: the combination of the two guarantees greater precision, especially in complex matrices, where interference can skew the results.

MPFAC-C-IS mixture

Mass-Labelled PFAS Injection Standards Solution

    • Type of mixture: The MPFAC-C-ES mixture is designed to work in synergy with PFC-CVS-C, reflecting an optimised strategy for PFAS analysis , analysis, particularly in complex environmental matrices. It is a mixture of labelled isotopic standards (13C) designed to be used as used as internal standards in PFAS analyses.
    • Composition: il contains 4 labelled compounds of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs), including 3 perfluorocarboxylic acids (PFCAs) and 1 perfluoroalkanesulphonate (PFSAs).
    • Example of application: mass-labelled compounds make it easier to correct analytical biases and improve the accuracy of mass spectrometry measurements.

PFAC-MXC Mixture

Native PFAS Stock Solution

    • Mixture type: covers a wide range of PFAS for applications requiring a broad spectrum of target compounds.
    • Composition: contains perfluoroalkylcarboxylic acids (C4-C14 and C18) and perfluoroalkanesulphonates (C4-C10 and C12); includes long-chain PFAS as well as common precursors.
    • Example of application: monitoring PFAS contamination in water, soil, air and sediment.
