45th edition - Antalya (Turkey)
The Dioxin2025 congress will be held from 1 to 6 November 2025 in Antalya, Turkey. As in previous years, it will bring together the international scientific community to discuss persistent organic pollutants (POPs), PFAS, dioxins, furans, PCBs, flame retardants and other halogenated compounds of environmental and health interest.
This multidisciplinary conference will cover the latest analytical advances, toxicity studies, risk assessments, regulations, remediation and environmental monitoring of these compounds. It is aimed at researchers, analysts, industrialists, health and environmental authorities.
Main themes
- Advanced analytical methods: development and application of techniques such as HRMS, GC×GC, LC-MS/MS, for the ultra-trace detection of dioxins, furans, PCBs, PBDEs, PFAS, etc.
- Environmental behaviour: emissions, transport dynamics, degradation and fate of POPs in various compartments (air, soil, water, biota).
- Toxicity and risk assessment: effects on human health and wildlife, toxicological mechanisms of action, risk modelling.
- Regulation and public policy: developments in international standards (Stockholm, REACH, POPs Regulation EU), source management and monitoring.
- Pollution in developing countries: identifying sources, building capacity, transferring technology.
- New contaminants : New-generation PFAS, alternative flame retardants, chlorinated plasticisers, oligomeric perfluorinated substances…
Don’t miss the chance to take part in this major scientific event on tomorrow’s environmental contaminants.
