Our PFOS and PFOA isomers analytical standards

These solutions of PFOS (perfluorooctanesulphonic acid) and PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid ) isomers developed by Wellington Laboratories are certified standards designed specifically for the analysis of PFAS substances.

These specific mixtures are used for:

  • Identify and quantify specific branched isomers of PFOS, often present in industrial electrochemical fluorination (ECF) formulations.
  • Understanding isomeric distribution in environmental samples (water, soil, biological matrices).
  • Trace the origin of contamination (in particular differentiate between ECF sources and telomerisation polymerisation processes ).
  • Improving analytical coverage in targeted and semi-targeted methods.
